Congar Engineering is a milling and general engineering company specialising in the manufacture of various large mining and industrial gears. Our main customers include Konkola Copper Mines, Mopani Copper Mines, Luanshya Copper Mines, Lafarge Cement, to mention but a few. The company was founded in 1968 and is one of the largest machine shops in Zambia. We are based in Kitwes light industrial area on Euclid road next to Road Traffic Department. We specialise in the manufacture of large sprockets, spur gears, helical gears, bevel gears, pinion gears, worm wheels and worm shafts, horizontal boring and turning. We also have a large fabrication and fitting shop workshop where we manufacture underground Granby and Hudson cars on contract to the mines. Our qualified fabricators have worked on various large projects.
